How a futures evaluation works

Three numbers

An evaluation is built on three numbers: a profit target to reach, a maximum drawdown never to touch, and a number of validated trading days. On a 50K account at Demos: $3,000 target, $2,000 max drawdown, 3 validated days on Classic or 5 on Pro.

The target is on closed trades. The drawdown is measured against your minimum balance, which depends on the model: fixed for Classic, trailing for Pro. Trailing vs static drawdown shows both with figures.

Validated trading days

A trading day is validated when you close it with $250 or more of profit. It counts from the next day. This stops an evaluation from being passed in one lucky session and rewards traders who repeat.

There is no rush. Days do not have to be consecutive. What matters is that an account stays active: a trade at least once every 30 days keeps it open.

The consistency rule

On Classic, your best day stays at or below 40% of your total profit during the evaluation. With $3,000 of profit on a 50K, no single day above $1,200. One day too big? Keep trading, the rule clears as the total grows.

Pro has no consistency rule. Neither model applies it on the funded account.

Contract limits

Each size has a maximum position: 3 minis or 30 micros on a 50K, 10 minis or 100 micros on a 150K. One mini equals ten micros, and you can mix them. The platform blocks anything above the limit, so it never costs you the account.

A simple way to pass

Trade one instrument and one setup you know. Start with micros to keep every loss small next to the drawdown. Aim for validated days rather than for the target: 3 to 5 days of $250+ already cover a good part of the target on a 50K. Stop when your day is done.

The traders who pass are rarely the ones with the best entries. They are the ones who never let one session take back a week.

Once you pass

You activate the funded account from your portal at no cost. Same size, same drawdown, same login. From the first trade, the profit is yours. See the accounts on the Accounts page, or every rule on the Rules & FAQ page.
